I am a mechanical engineer at the University of Bologna. I am passionate about environmental sustainability, social development and technological innovation.
I am currently helping industrial plants to reduce their environmental impact while achieving economic benefits. The focus of my activities is on the transition to renewable energy sources and the efficiency of production processes.

2022 – 2023 – Project ViVACE – manufacturing plant of Iveco (MN)
Main activities:
- Application of the ViVACE methodology in the sustainability and circularity assessment of various industrial plants (further to the TEESI project).
- Development of a strategic decarbonisation plan for Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions
- Development of strategies to reduce waste generated
- Feasibility studies for photovoltaic systems & high temperature heat pumps
- Designing the minimum requirements of a low-temperature heat circuit to maximise energy recovery
2021 – 2022 – Project TEESI – “Transizione Ecologica ed Energetica per la Sostenibilità Industriale” – manufacturing plant of Parmalat (PR) and Philip Morris (BO).
Main activities:
- Application of the ViVACE methodology in the sustainability and circularity assessment of various industrial plants (further to the TEESI project).
- Use of the LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) methodology for product life cycle assessment in manufacturing companies.
- Realisation of an artificial intelligence tool for the optimisation of company energy consumption.
- Feasibility studies for photovoltaic systems, high temperature heat pumps, anaerobic digesters and Power-to-Gas.
- Identification and feasibility study of economic and environmental improvements.
